Jim Clark is an innovative and results-driven leader, currently serving as chief growth officer of HealthAxis. In his role, Mr. Clark is responsible for business development, product management, strategy and corporate development.
Prior to joining HealthAxis, Mr. Clark served as vice president of product and business development for at Centene Corporation, helping to launch Centene’s Envolve brand and division focused on providing technology and administrative service solutions to payers and risk-bearing provider organizations. Engagements included vendor service arrangements and joint ventures utilizing Envolve’s comprehensive suite of medical management, claims, governance, member services, network management and specialty management capabilities. Closed transactions totaled more than 1,000,000 members representing more than $4 billion in annual premium.
Mr. Clark began his career in healthcare as founder, president and chief operating officer of Soft-Aid, Inc., where he launched and built the healthcare information technology and services company from start-up. He later served as president and chief operating officer of Visionary Healthcare, having led organic and M&A-related growth to more than 10,000 providers.
Recognized as a highly effective motivator, Mr. Clark’s specialties include corporate strategy, M&A, business process improvement, product development, partner channel growth and team development. Holding over twenty-five years of experience building companies and successfully leading operations, Mr. Clark is a member of the Board of Directors for Entrepreneur’s Organization of South Florida.
Mr. Clark has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida.
