Angela Benmassaoud
Chief People Officer
Angela Benmassaoud, a strategic, hands-on human resource executive, is the Chief People Officer for HealthAxis. She is responsible for shaping the lifecycle of our high-performing workforce, creating an inclusive and people-first culture, and advancing our mission and growth to create value for our team members and customers.
In addition to a deep desire to support others, Angela possesses more than 20 years of human resources expertise within the technology start-up, healthcare, and logistics sectors, including private equity-backed firms. Most recently, she was vice president of people for Qure4u, a Florida-based company focused on using digital health solutions to optimize the connection between providers and patients, empowering doctors to care for more people and improve outcomes. In 2022, with her leadership, the company earned a spot on the list of Best Companies to Work for in Florida, as well as national certification as a Great Place to Work.
Before joining Qure4u, she served as vice president of human resources for Datalink Software, another company benefiting from her stewardship by receiving local and national recognition as a Great Place to Work. In addition to the awards, Angela successfully and simultaneously integrated an acquisition and grew the headcount by nearly 160% while maintaining a retention rate above 80%.
She held executive positions as director of human resources for Digital Hands, a Managed Security Services Provider and HealthPlan Services, a Wipro Company.
Angela began her human resource career as a generalist for Capstone Logistics, formerly known as Pinnacle Workforce Logistics & RoadLink Services. Through dedication and multiple promotions, she achieved the title of executive director. During her 12-year tenure, she helped the company grow organically and through acquisition, from 1,200 employees in 50 locations to a team of 14,000 across 350 locations.
Angela is a certified SHRM professional and Executive Coach. She holds a degree in business administration and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City.
Her drive and accomplishments stem from her inherent desire to touch people’s lives, and her recognition of the role human resources plays in enabling team members and customers to achieve their goals. She is passionate about inspiring people to build meaningful careers and thrive in their environment.
