Chief Technology Officer

Chris House serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for HealthAxis. He is responsible for the company’s technology strategy, accelerating innovation and delivering the technology and software application platforms.

Chris firmly believes in the power of technology to transform the healthcare space and support providers in delivering improved patient outcomes. He is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive innovation, creating new solutions for the healthcare ecosystem, and improving inefficiencies.

He is a seasoned technology executive with a decade of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining HealthAxis, Chris was SVP of Product Development at a market leading provider portal and utilization management company leading the product engineering and technology solutions for their payer-provider portals, decision support, and utilization management solutions.

Chris held various technology leadership positions in healthcare organizations, including Global Head of Advanced Technology and Research and later Global Head of Software Development – Devices and Emerging Solutions at BlackBerry, as well as senior leadership positions at Cree and HTC.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Outside of work, Chris likes to spend time with his two kids, being a parent volunteer for their little league baseball team and printing fun figurines with their 3-D printer. Living by a lake, you can often find him boating and fishing.
