Sunil V. Rao is the Chief Financial Officer at HealthAxis, where he oversees the company’s financial strategy, global compliance, and data-driven reporting initiatives. Bringing over 16 years of expertise across the BFSI, technology, and logistics sectors, Sunil is instrumental in driving HealthAxis’s fiscal health and operational scaling through advanced analytics and strategic financial planning.

Sunil possesses a deep understanding of multi-regional financial accounting and regulatory frameworks, including US GAAP and IFRS. His leadership is characterized by a unique blend of financial rigor and technological innovation, having successfully led large-scale digital transformations and ERP implementations that optimize business processes.

Prior to joining HealthAxis, Sunil worked in leadership positions across multi national companies in Investment banking, IT and Global logistic companies spearheading end-to-end financial controllership, financial reporting, establishment of global subsidiaries and led complex M&A financial due diligence.

He holds a CPA from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Chartered Accountant designation from the ICAI, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University. Beyond his corporate achievements, Sunil is deeply committed to community development and mentorship. He has been recognized for his work with education-focused NGOs, helping them build digital presences and drive fundraising efforts.
